Seed to Cup

This class offers a comprehensive overview of coffee from farm to cup, concentrating on one of the most sustainable coffee farms in the world, the Selva Negra Estate in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. First, we will cover growing, harvesting, and processing the coffee at the farm. From there, we will look at what happens to the coffee upon arrival in to the US, the roasting process and what that does to the coffee. Finally, we will experience the aroma and flavor of one of the estate's coffees, processed three different ways.
